What’s trending with Charles: New updates on Queen Elizabeth II

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - It is near the end of the week and that means digital reporter, Charles Montgomery, joined Tennessee Valley Living Thursday to give an update on all things trending.

One of the biggest stories of the week comes from the United Kingdom as doctors were concerned for Queen Elizabeth II’s health at the time of Tennessee Valley Living. As of Thursday afternoon, it was reported that the queen passed away at age 96.

College football began just a few weeks ago and now the NFL season kicks off on Thursday night in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Rams will face the Buffalo Bills to begin the season.

The Rams are coming off a Super Bowl title while quarterback Josh Allen for the Bills looks to lead Buffalo to its first super bowl championship.

In Limestone County, a circuit court judge denied a motion by the defense team for Mason Sisk to suppress statements made by Sisk before he said he was read his Miranda Rights.

Court documents show that Sisk and his defense team claimed the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office did not read him his Miranda Rights prior to questioning. Sisk is accused of killing his parents and three siblings.
