Fun ways to mix up old family recipes this Thanksgiving

Here's to refreshing those traditional family classics this Thanksgiving

This time of year you might be reaching into your family’s recipe box and looking through recipes passed down from generation to generation.  But Jocelyn Adams is honoring and remixing her grandmother’s recipes with a fun “grandbaby” twist.

She talked with Payton Walker about traditional recipes she’s sticking with this Thanksgiving, but how she adds a little bit of her own flavor.

Jocelyn Adams is known for her award-winning cookbook, Grandbaby Cakes, and is teaming up with Libby’s®  Vegetables for their annual Cansgiving contest. The contest runs November 8-28 and gives kids and their families a chance to win a $5,000 college scholarship. The contest asks families to snap a photo of a retake on a classic Thanksgiving recipe using veggies and share it on social media (Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter) using the hashtag #LibbysCansgivingContest.
