When you hear The Rolling Stones hit song, ‘Wild Horses’ did you ever imagine it was written in a small, north Alabama bathroom? Well, it was.

Wild Horses, Old Time Rock & Roll and even Free Bird are just some of the songs that were recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studios tucked away in the corner of northwest Alabama.

It’s known as the “The Hit Recording Capital of the World” or sometimes “The Small Town with the Big Sound.”

So, TVL paid a visit to the iconic studio to hear some of the stories for ourselves. Take a trip with us to Muscle Shoals Sound Studios…. which is actually in Sheffield. Whatever, we don’t make the rules.
