The Art Cart is encouraging others to give a bag of hope this holiday season

The Art Cart at Lowe Mill is an art shop in Huntsville filled with people who are looking to make a difference this holiday season. They are working with an organization called Hope Place to help women and children coming out of crisis throughout November and December. Together, they created HeARTful Giving.

When you visit The Art Cart, you can pick up a list of items needed for these women. While you’re at it, grab a brown grocery bag from the store and create a piece of artwork with it. Paint your bag, turn it into something beautiful and return it by the first week of December to see your bag on display in the store. Customers will vote on their favorite bags and on December 18th, awards will be given to the best in show. All of the donated items will be placed in the bags and go to those at Hope Place.
