HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - Having grown up hearing stories about FAME Recording Studios, Lucie Tiger moved from Sydney, Australia to Muscle Shoals in mid-2023.
Since then, she’s done quite a bit of recording at both FAME and East Avalon Studios. The songs she’s recorded in the Shoals have gone on to do great things. ‘Gasoline’ won Best Country Blues Song of the Year in 2021 in Australia, and five songs she recorded and released have charted on the Nashville Music Row charts.
She is the only independent Australian artist to have five songs on the Music Row chart in the last few years.
Today, she released her newest single, “Hummingbird,” an autobiographical snapshot of who Lucie is as a person and an artist. She describes it as Miranda Lambert’s ‘Bluebird’ but with a Southern Rock edge. It’s classic Lucie Tiger so it’s best heard from your car stereo and turned up loud!
