HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - Needing a little taste of Europe this summer?
The Salty Cod in historic downtown Athens is a locally owned and operated English-style pub. With two bars, plenty of TVs, outdoor patios, and more, it’s the perfect spot for gameday, girls’ night out, or family dinner! It also happens to have an authentic European coffee bar, gelato selection, and bakery on-site.
There’s also a fully functional butcher shop, Corkshire Butcher Company. The meat selection changes weekly but typically offers steaks, dry-aged steaks, and on special occasions Japanese A5 Wagyu. They also carry most pork cuts including house-made sausages and bacon. They will occasionally have bison, elk, and venison in stock.
