HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - As the holiday season approaches, it is a good idea to start adding healthy habits into your everyday routine. This will help eliminate the oh-so famous cycle of waiting until January to start your health and fitness journey every year. Brittany Olson with Balanced Bootcamp shares a few habits you can implement now before the holidays roll in.

Here are 4 healthy habits to implement into your daily routine:

  1. Drink half of your body weight in ounces of water. Brittany recommends that everyone should consume half of your body weight in ounces of water. For example, if someone weighs 150lbs then they should aim to drink about 75oz of water daily.
Adjust your student’s bedtime now before the school year begins (ky3)
  1. Get enough sleep! Studies show that people who put their phones down 30 minutes before bed can lead to better sleep.

  1. Find a nutrition and health plan that works best for you. There are hundreds of diets out there, but it is important to find a diet that fits your health needs the best. One way to implement healthy habits into your diet is to take your favorite snacks and find ways to make them healthier.
