HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - Huntsville’s history is rich and deep. Sometimes, the only way to preserve a historic building is by relocating it.

SueAnne Griffith, the creator/host Lily Flagg’s Signal Podcast, stopped by Tennessee Valley Living on Wednesday to talk about four historic buildings in the downtown area that have been moved.

Griffith discusses the history behind The Public Inn, the Humphrey Rogers House (now Mazara’s), the Steamboat Gothic House, and the Jeremiah Clemens house. All four buildings date to the 1800s but all are now in different spots than they were originally.

Griffith’s podcast can be followed on Facebook and Instagram.
