HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - One group is saying “namaste” to helping our nation’s heroes on their health and wellness journeys through different forms of yoga!
The Veterans Yoga Project supports recovery and resilience among veterans, their families, and the communities they are part of through various programs and resources.
Veterans Yoga Project teacher and ambassador Kristin Clark stopped by to discuss why the mission of her local organization is so important to promote in the community.
Clark also brought along Sarah Cummins, a waterfall yoga instructor, and Brooklyn Kimbro from Hot Yoga Huntsville to demonstrate some of the offerings that veterans can take advantage of during the Veterans Yoga Project’s Gratitude Week.
Gratitude Week is happening from November 8-16, 2025. Veterans and the general public can participate in free yoga classes of different types, like aerial yoga, warm yoga, and more, at several studios around Huntsville.
