BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - In this edition of ‘Women of True Grit,’ host Edie Hand continues to shine a spotlight on the backstory of Susann Montgomery-Clark. This time, Susann’s daughter, Meredith Montgomery-Price, was also highlighted for her role in creating a memorial foundation following the tragic death of her sister.
Clark had a rough start to life, growing up in a poverty-stricken household. She vowed to work hard and create a life that she could fully support on her own, without relying on a man.
Life continued to throw more trials her way throughout adulthood, including divorce and the tragic murder of her daughter.
Through it all, she persevered and transformed the pain she and her family endured into a powerful purpose. Meredith also played a significant role in bringing the Megan Montgomery Foundation to fruition.
