Alabama native places sixth in season 28 of ‘The Voice’ McKenzie was featured on an episode of ‘Sounds of the Valley’ in early 2025 before her run on ‘The Voice’ began.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - NBC’s ‘The Voice’ just announced its season 28 winner! Singer Aiden Ross brought home the title. Alabama native and Huntsville resident Jazz McKenzie placed sixth in the finale.

McKenzie initially won over judges in the blind auditions, garnering a four-chair turn. She ultimately chose to represent Team Bublé.

McKenzie would then sing her way into the final six after giving heart-wrenching performances all season long. Her song choices over the course of the season included hits from Tina Turner, Smokey Robinson, Journey, Phil Collins, Olivia Rodrigo, and more!

McKenzie was featured on an episode of ‘Sounds of the Valley’ in early 2025 before her run on ‘The Voice’ began.

Before making it to the national stage, McKenzie performed covers of popular music all around the Rocket City and surrounding areas for several years.
