FLORENCE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - You can add the flavors of the season to your own cup of joe at home with some help from Wander Coffee!
Owner Vanessa Hopkins stopped by the kitchen to share her recipe for gingerbread syrup!
The recipe is as follows:
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp fresh grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp clove
- 2 tbsp Molasses
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer.
- After 5 minutes, turn off the heat.
- When cooled, strain the syrup and refrigerate for up to 10 days.
