HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - This February marks the 100th Black History Month, and to celebrate, a local entrepreneur is making sure minority-owned businesses get their chance to shine!
Founder of Huntsville Black-Owned Businesses Kanique Mighty-Nugent and Founder of V. Renee Consulting Vicki Morris stopped by the studio to chat about The Black History Month Flipbook.
It is a digital guide that highlights and supports Black‑owned businesses in the community and encourages intentional shopping. It offers shoppers a curated collection of local businesses, special promotions, and uplifting success stories.
Last year, the Flipbook generated over 50,000 views across HBB’s social media platforms and website in February.
