Several outlets reported that Spears sold her catalog to Primary Wave, a music and marketing company based in New York that specializes in catalog deals.

Forbes reports that the deal is worth $200 million, though neither Spears nor Primary Wave has confirmed it.

According to Sony Music, she has sold nearly 150 million albums worldwide.
Primary Wave owns the catalogs of other massive stars, including Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Stevie Nicks and Prince.
