HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - As Black History Month comes to a close, an annual event is back to shine a spotlight on the remarkable moments, notable figures, and accomplishments of a community that has persevered and overcome many obstacles over the generations.
Event Coordinator of Black History Trivia, Deborah D. Williams, stopped by the studio to share the details about this year’s event. She and TVL host Payton Walker also played a friendly round of trivia on-air to test their knowledge of Black history on the spot!
The Black History Trivia event is happening on February 28 from 12 PM to 4 PM at the Gentry Isom VFW Post 2702 Auxiliary in Huntsville. It is free to attend, and the VFW is welcoming the community to enjoy the family-friendly festivities.
