A sky full of smiles: What to expect at the 14th Annual Community Kite Festival

Community Kite Festival happening in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - For many local families, the Community Kite Festival isn’t just an event- it’s a tradition.

Families, kite enthusiasts, and community members of any age are all encouraged to gather at John Hunt Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, March 7 for the 14th Annual Community Kite Festival.

This free, family-friendly event- hosted by the City of Huntsville in partnership with AshaKiran Foundation- is a spring tradition that celebrates fun, creativity, and community spirit. It’s purpose is to bring the community together to enjoy a spectacular sky full of colorful kites, food truck vendors, entertainment, and children’s activities.
