HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - As Easter inches closer, there are a lot of events to hop over to this weekend to celebrate the holiday with the family! There’s a big celebration that the Huntsville Parks & Recreation is putting on soon that you’ll definitely want to take the kids to.
City of Huntsville Special Events Supervisor, Jamie Smith, stopped by the studio to share more details about the upcoming Eggstravaganza event, and she brought a special guest with her- E.B. the Bunny!
E.B. also hid some eggs around the studio to jumpstart the fun!

The Eggstravaganza is happening at the Loretta P. Spencer Sports Complex in John Hunt Park on Saturday, April 4, from 10 AM to 12 PM. More than 15,000 eggs will be up for grabs. Families can also expect other fun activities like arts and crafts, games, inflatables, and more! Of course, the Easter Bunny will hop in for a special appearance, as well.

There will also be different egg-hunting time frames for different age groups to keep the festivities as fair as possible.
- 10 AM- Children with adaptive needs
- 10:30 AM- Ages 5 and under
- 11 AM- Ages 6-8
- 11:30 AM- Ages 9-12
