Monte Sano State Park is bringing Feather Fest to Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - Birds of a feather flock together! You and other bird lovers can catch a raptor show unlike any other very soon at Monte Sano State Park!

Executive Director of Rise Raptor, Curt Cearley, District Naturalist of Alabama State Parks, Amber Coger, and Rise Raptor Educator, Lorelei McElroy, stopped by the studio to chat all about what the upcoming Feather Fest has to offer and why it’s so important to bring it to this area. They also brought a very special guest, Maximus the Owl!

Feather Fest is happening May 2 at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, starting at 9 AM.

You can expect a fun day of kids’ activities, hands-on educational booths, and guided birding hikes—perfect for bird lovers of all ages.
