HAZEL GREEN, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - The Caring Link, a local non-profit, is on a mission to ensure kids in our area have access to what they need during school hours and once they leave campus. From toiletries to full outfits and shoes, The Caring Link is looking to provide

President Kate O’Neal stopped by the studio to discuss The Caring Link’s mission and an upcoming opportunity for the community to connect with the group!

On Saturday, April 25th, the non-profit is hosting The Link Up Community Fest & Market — a fun, family-friendly event that will bring the community together through local vendors, food, and fun activities. The event will also include a blood drive, a huge yard sale, and free books for kids! It will run from 8 AM to 2 PM at Meridianville Middle School.

Every dollar raised through The Link Up directly supports The Caring Link’s New Beginnings program, which provides new clothing, shoes, hygiene products, school supplies, haircuts, and other essential resources to students in need as they prepare for a new school year.
