HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - The Kentucky Derby is racing towards us, and that means so is a local annual fundraiser that’s inspired by the classic sporting event- bringing the spirit of Churchill Downs right to North Alabama!
Huntsville Museum of Art Guild members Lara Isbell and Margo Alford stopped by the kitchen to make a Kentucky Derby staple- a mint julep- and to share the details about their annual themed-fundraising event!
On May 2 from 4 PM to 7 PM, Unframed: Off to the Races returns to the Royal at Stovehouse. You can dress to the nines in your Kentucky Derby-inspired attire while enjoying signature cocktails, great company, and all the excitement of race day as the action plays out on the big screen! There will also be silent auctions and other activities to look forward to.
The event isn’t only for a good time; it raises money to support the Huntsville Museum of Art Guild, which promotes awareness, appreciation, and knowledge of the visual arts in our community.
