FLORENCE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - Just like people, many animals are living through unimaginable circumstances. Whether it’s neglect, abuse, or other situations where they go without care, some pets are left to fend for themselves.
Thankfully, nonprofit organizations like Chloe’s Fund are working to help turn lives around for furry friends in North Alabama by providing the care they need and eventually helping them find their “furever” home!
Chloe’s Fund Founder Debby Nelson and pet mama Joy Hunt and her fur-baby, Jewel, stopped by the studio to share more about how the nonprofit is making a difference. They shared the tragic backstory of Jewel’s condition when they first met her and how she eventually recovered and found a loving home with Joy Hunt and her family!
They also shared another success story, including a shelter cat who lost her own kittens but became a new mother to a set of kittens who had lost their own mother.
You can be a part of the change and become the happy ending for a pet at the Florence Animal Shelter.
