Carlie Addyson Shaw talks Law & Order: SVU appearance and growing entertainment career in NYC

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - From small-town Alabama to one of the most iconic shows on television, Carlie Addyson Shaw is living out her New York City dreams. Having recently appeared on the hit series, Law & Order: SVU- S27 Ep.19, Shaw promises that the life you envision could be yours when you work hard and dream big.

Shaw’s journey to the Big Apple has been filled with major opportunities. In 2024, she worked with legendary choreographer and director Kenny Ortega on a Broadway commercial, adding another milestone to her growing career.

She has also toured with ‘Super Freak: A Rick James Story", bringing the life and music of the iconic funk star to audiences across the country. Along with her touring schedule, Shaw says she is preparing to work on a new movie project set to begin filming this summer.

Despite her success, Shaw continues to represent her Alabama roots proudly while inspiring others to chase their dreams.

“Trust yourself. Be passionate about whatever you wanna be passionate about and throw yourself out there”, Shaw says.
