Former Broadway performer turned music professor, Jo Lynn Burks, stopped by the studio to chat more about the event that’s bringing the vibes of Broadway right to North Alabama!
‘A New York Evening: Voices from Broadway’ is happening Thursday, June 4, at the Huntsville Museum of Art.
Burks will perform several Broadway songs and share stories from the Broadway stage, detailing the history of a uniquely American form of art and entertainment.
The 2026 Miss America, Cassie Donegan, who Burks personally mentored over the years, will be a special guest at the event.
