HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - One man’s journey from growing up in Guatemala to owning his own restaurant in the Rocket City exemplifies the pursuit of the “American Dream”.
The owner of Terra Italian Restaurant & Bar, Alexis Salazar, shared his story of beginning his life and career in the U.S. at 18. He worked his way through all the restaurant ranks, eventually reaching managerial roles.
Eventually, he and his partner have now made their mark on the culinary scene in North Alabama.
The name “Terra” was inspired by a former Italian restaurant where Salazar worked in New York.
At the restaurant, you can indulge in their craft, handmade pastas, Roman-style pizzas, and seasonal dishes using high-quality ingredients, paired with a curated wine list and signature cocktails
