HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - A century ago, on June 11, 1926, Huntsville Hospital welcomed its very first baby, Buddy Miller. That special moment marked the beginning of a legacy that has touched generations of families across North Alabama.
Now, 100 years later, Huntsville Hospital Health System is inviting the community to celebrate the countless babies, families, and milestones that have been part of its story.
Senior Marketing Coordinator of HH Health, Jalyn Ignont, and Vice President of Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, Elizabeth Sanders, stopped by the studio to share more about how they’re commemorating the major milestone.
The free 100 Years of Babies Celebration will take place on Saturday, June 6, at The Orion Amphitheater.
From 6 PM to 8 PM, families can enjoy games, inflatables, music, food trucks, and other kid-friendly activities. The celebration will conclude at 8:30 PM with The Orion’s first-ever drone show, honoring a century of babies and the families who have trusted Huntsville Hospital through life’s most meaningful moments.
