Huntsville’s next chapter: Young author Jack Wimberley makes his mark

Teen Book Author Jack Wemberley shares his passion for writing and success of published work

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - While most 16-year-olds are worried about driver’s licenses, homework, and what to watch next on Netflix, Huntsville native Jack Wimberley was busy writing a novel.

At just 16 years old, Wimberley completed “The Sleepless Knight”, a fantasy story that marked the beginning of a literary journey well beyond his years. The book opened the door to something even bigger. At 17, he signed with a small publisher and quickly got to work on his second novel, “Dust and Ashes”.

Wimberley’s writing blends fantasy, adventure, and heartfelt storytelling, with many of his stories centered on LGBTQ+ experiences. His characters face challenges that give readers stories that are as relatable as they are imaginative.

As for what’s next? If his track record is any indication, Jack Wimberley probably already has another story waiting in the wings. After all, some teenagers dream about adventures...he’s busy writing them!
