Set your child up for success with help from Brain Space

How you can add more fun by making math lessons more hands-on

Brain Space's Ameilia shares a way to make learning multiplication fun

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - School’s out, and Summer is in, but that doesn’t mean your child shouldn’t be improving their skills to be better prepared for the next school year. Keeping them engaged may feel like a challenge, but there are ways to make things interesting!

Amelia Hooper of Brain Space believes learning should feel exciting for children, not exhausting. That’s what the academic enrichment program aims to instill in young minds as they progress through their school years.

Hooper says the 5 C’s can help awaken a love for learning!

The 5 C’s are:

  • Challenge
  • Competence
  • Control
  • Curiosity
  • Context

Hooper focused on ‘Context’ this time around when she joined TVL Host Payton Walker in the kitchen to share how snack time can be turned into an engaging multiplication lesson!
