CULLMAN, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - It started as a joke. What business did seven longtime friends have in starting an ice cream shop?! After the topic came up while sitting around, laughing and dreaming about what life could hold... Mama T came across a spot for rent.
“I texted and said, ‘Hey, I found a place,’” she says. “And they all responded, ‘For what?’ And I said, ‘The ice cream shop?!’ They didn’t think I was serious, but I was.”
That would lead to the birth of Seven Daughters Scoops in Cullman, Alabama.
“This ice cream... it’s got very high butter fat in it,” says Mama T. “We offer all the staples like butter pecan, vanilla, chocolate. But there’s a hundred different flavors, and I rotate these flavors every week.”

“It’s a great little gathering place for families,” says Mama T. “Hopefully we’re doing a good service to our community.”
