HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - As kids grow up, parents will have to start having candid conversations about the real-life issues they’ll face. One of the biggest lessons kids will have to learn is money management.
Financial Education Manager Jonathan Fowler stopped by the studio to share more about how parents and guardians can build a solid foundation in financial literacy for their children as they grow older and enter the workforce.
Fowler says you can further incorporate valuable teaching moments through everyday experiences to prepare them for the real world.
A local resource that helps further expand financial literacy among people of all ages in the Tennessee Valley is Redstone Federal Credit Union (RFCU).
You can find out more about the programs and services RFCU offers on its website.
