HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - A mission-driven night of entertainment! This weekend, The 2026 Southern Social Concert will take place.
The country music legend Sammy Kershaw will headline the event. Titus Thornton, a 17-year-old music phenom, will kick things off. He joined Tennessee Valley Living for a preview of what to expect.
The most important part: 100% of the proceeds will go to The Wells Clayton Whitworth Memorial Foundation and The Sarah Gayle Gibbs Memorial Foundation.
The Wells Clayton Whitworth Memorial Foundation supports local families who have experienced the loss of a child with burial, cremation, plots, headstones, and grief counseling. The Sarah Gayle Gibbs Memorial Foundation supports families of critically ill children, as well as those who face the unexpected loss of a child.
The 2026 Southern Social Concert is happening Saturday, August 1st at the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall at the Von Braun Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Purchase tickets here.
