Sparks stopped by the studio to share more about what you need to keep in mind as you clean up your makeup bag.
From how to find product expiration dates to the best ways to clean your brushes, she broke down ways to extend the lifespan of your beauty products while prioritizing cleanliness and sanitation.
A few of her tips include:
- Use cleaners like Zote Soap or Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray to wash makeup brushes (you don’t have to buy the expensive makeup brush cleaners!)
- Lay clean brushes flat on a towel, spray them thoroughly with 70% Alcohol, and leave brushes overnight to dry.
- Throw out dirty makeup sponges & swap to disposable wedge sponges for a more hygienic makeup application.
