GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - Tech support and government impersonation scams are on the rise! That’s why local leaders with TARCOG are getting ready for a Fraud and Scam Summit.
Teresa Hazzard joined Tennessee Valley Living to talk about the event, and some signs you need to look out for if you believe a scammer is targeting you.
The Fraud and Scam Summit is happening on Tuesday, August 25th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marshall County RSVP building at 19272 US-431 in Guntersville. The event is free, but you’ll need to register here. The deadline to register is Friday, August 21st.
