Country music legend Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80 Country music legend Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Country Music Icon Dolly Parton has died at 80.

Dolly’s nephew announced her passing on her official Facebook page.

The multi-award-winning singer and actress has been open about her recent health struggles.

At this time, her cause of death has not been revealed.

Several country music stars released statements after the news of Parton’s death was announced, including Reba McEntire, George Strait, and Kelsea Ballerini.

Dolly, thank you for all the wonderful things you did for us here on earth. Your love, your music and you gave so much with your huge huge heart. There will never ever be another you. We will remember and cherish every memory and every note you ever played and sang.

Dollywood Parks and Resorts also released a statement following Parton’s passing.
