Division Chair of Applied Services Kelly Williams and Barber Instructor Tralanda Tate stopped by the studio to share more about how Drake State offers aesthetic services like haircuts, hair styling, nailcare, and more performed by students in their certificate program at discounted rates.
During back-to-school season, Drake State hosts a community event offering free haircuts so students can look great and feel even better as they head back into the classroom!
Barber Instructor Kenneth Orange, Barber Paul Reichelderfer, and Drake State Barber Student Dee Tuck also joined to give a live demo of what the barber experience is like for young men and which haircuts are popular this school year!
