MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - In this edition of ‘Women of True Grit,’ host Edie Hand shines a spotlight on the story of Michelle Self Tiffin. She grew up in Muscle Shoals and is the daughter Mitchell Self, the former co-owner of the WLAY radio station.
She shared how hard it was to lose her father and her child around the same time, then later losing her brothers and mother within months of each other.
She says, to anyone going through a hard time, it’s important to give yourself grace and patience, and keep moving forward.
