HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - Project Giveback is getting ready for their 5K Aloha! It’s happening this weekend at the KBR Building at 6200 Redstone Gateway in Huntsville.
Patrick Marziale and Veronica Sites with the non-profit joined Tennessee Valley Living to talk about the event, and their donation drive! They’ll be collecting items like feminine hygiene pads, feminine wipes, bar soap, and shampoo for Downtown Rescue Mission’s Owens House, which helps women and kids experiencing homelessness.
In addition to the 5K, which starts at 7 a.m. on September 26th, the non-profit is also hosting Superheroes vs. Villains at 9 a.m. It’s a race for kids 11 and under, and they’re encouraged to dress like their favorite superhero or villain.
