The PJR Collective talks signs of domestic abuse

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (TENNESSEE VALLEY LIVING) - Signs of domestic violence can be subtle. That’s why Elizabeth A. Land with The PJR Collective joined Tennessee Valley Living, so you can view relationships around you from a new perspective.

Elizabeth says, signs could include a friend becoming increasingly isolated from friends and family, or becoming unusually anxious, withdrawn, or fearful. She also talked about how a partner may not be physically abusive, but they may be punching walls or tables to communicate that violence is possible.

The PJR Collective works to empower those impacted by domestic violence, you can connect with them here.

Elizabeth also shared the details of the upcoming Mom Prom, benefiting her non-profit, which is a ladies-only event with purple-carpet photos, a silent auction, and a dance floor! It’s happening November 14th at Stovehouse from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Get tickets here.
